Shwetmann — meaning “a clear mind” — is dedicated to helping individuals navigate emotional challenges, understand themselves more deeply, and create meaningful, lasting change. The practice is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based methods, with a safe, supportive space at its center.

Over 5+ years of practice, the focus has stayed the same: understanding each person as an individual first, and a diagnosis second. That means sessions are never rushed into a template — every plan is shaped around your pace, your history, and what actually matters to you.

We work with adults and adolescents facing depression, anxiety, OCD, borderline personality disorder, grief, emotional dysregulation, and relationship or family challenges — with sessions available in person and online.

A safe, supportive, non-judgmental space for healing and growth.

Our Approach

How therapy at Shwetmann actually works.

Empathy first

A safe, non-judgmental space is the starting point for every session — you set the pace, not the clock.

Evidence-based

Methods drawn from CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, and Schema Therapy — matched to what actually works for you, not a one-size-fits-all script.

Collaborative

Therapy is built with you, through honest conversation about what’s working and what isn’t.

FAQ

Good questions to ask before you start.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is mostly about listening — understanding what brought you in, your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out.

Is everything I share confidential?

Yes. Sessions are held to strict professional confidentiality standards, with disclosure only where required by law or with your explicit consent.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, sessions are available both in person at the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar office and online via video call, whichever works better for you.

How long does a typical session run?

Sessions typically run 45–50 minutes, though assessments and couples sessions may run longer.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

You don’t need to know in advance. The right approach is usually decided together after an initial assessment — that’s part of what the first few sessions are for.
